Job Title: Advanced Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Duties:

1. Perform advanced diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, including PET and SPECT.
2. Calibrate, operate, and maintain nuclear imaging systems to ensure precision and reliability.
3. Handle and document the usage and disposal of radioactive materials per regulatory standards.
4. Provide detailed patient instructions and monitor reactions during procedures.
5. Assist in the development and implementation of new imaging protocols and procedures.
6. Maintain records of quality control and compliance audits.
7. Participate in continuing education to stay updated with advancements in nuclear medicine.

Skills Required:

• Expertise in advanced nuclear imaging technologies.
• Ability to train and mentor junior technologists.

Education:

• NYS Radiologic Technologist license and ARRT certification required.
• Nuclear Technology and BLS certifications mandatory.

Pay Range:

• Weekly: $1,500 - $1,900
• Monthly: $6,000 - $7,600
