Job Title: Nuclear Diagnostic Technologist

Duties:

1. Administer radiopharmaceuticals and perform nuclear medicine imaging studies.
2. Evaluate imaging results for technical accuracy and quality before submission for interpretation.
3. Ensure proper operation and calibration of nuclear medicine equipment.
4. Follow radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure risks.
5. Maintain inventory of radioactive materials and monitor proper storage conditions.
6. Support physicians during therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures.
7. Provide patient education regarding imaging procedures and potential outcomes.

Skills Required:

• In-depth knowledge of radiation physics and imaging techniques.
• Excellent organizational and patient care skills.

Education:

• NYS Radiologic Technologist license and ARRT certification required.
• Nuclear Technology certification and BLS mandatory.

Pay Range:

• Weekly: $1,450 - $1,800
• Monthly: $5,800 - $7,200
