Job Title: Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Duties:

1. Prepare, calibrate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
2. Monitor patients during imaging procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
3. Perform diagnostic imaging studies such as SPECT and PET, ensuring compliance with protocols.
4. Troubleshoot imaging equipment and coordinate repairs when necessary.
5. Maintain radiation exposure logs and documentation as per regulatory requirements.
6. Educate patients on the process and post-procedure instructions.
7. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance imaging accuracy and safety.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in nuclear imaging and radiopharmaceutical handling.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Education:

• Valid NYS Radiologic Technologist license.
• ARRT certification in Radiography and Nuclear Technology.
• BLS certification required.

Pay Range:

• Weekly: $1,400 - $1,850
• Monthly: $5,600 - $7,400
