Nuclear Imaging Specialist - NYCTECH

Job Title: Nuclear Imaging Specialist

Duties:

1. Administer radiopharmaceuticals for nuclear imaging studies and verify patient preparation.
2. Perform QC tests on nuclear imaging systems, including gamma cameras and PET scanners.
3. Acquire and process nuclear medicine images, ensuring optimal quality for diagnostic interpretation.
4. Comply with radiation safety standards during the preparation, use, and disposal of radioactive materials.
5. Maintain detailed documentation of radiopharmaceutical usage and imaging procedures.
6. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure efficient workflow and patient care.
7. Conduct patient assessments to verify suitability for imaging studies.

Skills Required:

• Expertise in QC protocols and imaging technologies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and the healthcare team.

Education:

• NYS Radiologic Technologist license.
• ARRT and Nuclear Technology certifications required.
• Current BLS certification.

Pay Range:

• Weekly: $1,450 - $1,850
• Monthly: $5,800 - $7,400
