School Health Coordinator

• Pay: Total stipend of $127,000 annually

Qualifications:

1. Valid state-issued School Nurse Certification
2. Strong organizational and multitasking skills
3. CPR and First Aid certifications
4. Completed background check and legal work authorization in the U.S.

Performance Responsibilities:

• Coordinates the overall health services program within the school, overseeing all health-related activities and ensuring compliance with state health mandates.
• Assesses and monitors the health status of students, providing care and referrals as necessary.
• Tracks and maintains health records for all students, including immunizations, medical histories, and other necessary documentation.
• Provides direct health education services, helping students and staff understand health risks and promoting wellness practices.
• Acts as a liaison between parents, healthcare providers, and the school system to address and manage student health concerns.
• Handles health-related emergencies, providing immediate response and coordinating follow-up care.
• Manages student health issues, ensuring appropriate responses to medical conditions such as allergies, asthma, and diabetes.
