Job Title: Echocardiography Technician
Duties:
Conduct echocardiograms using advanced imaging techniques, including Doppler and stress echocardiography.
Collaborate with cardiologists to interpret results and make necessary adjustments during imaging.
Maintain proper operation and calibration of all ultrasound equipment.
Support patient care by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort.
Document diagnostic findings in patient records and maintain compliance with quality standards.
Provide mentorship to new staff and students as part of on-the-job training programs.
Skills Required:
Current registry credentials required.
Minimum 2 years of experience in echocardiography.
Physical capability to handle patient transfers and extended periods of standing.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
