Cardiovascular Technician - STEMI Support - NYCTECH

Job Title: Cardiovascular Technician - STEMI Support
Duties:

1. Monitor patients' hemodynamic status and ensure real-time communication with the care team.
2. Record intracardiac pressures and manage procedural data using specialized software.
3. Prepare the sterile field and arrange instruments for STEMI and cardiogenic shock cases.
4. Operate intra-aortic balloon pumps, adjust settings, and monitor functionality during procedures.
5. Assist with equipment calibration and troubleshooting for seamless operation.
6. Provide supplies to physicians and maintain inventory in the procedure room.
7. Participate in emergency resuscitation procedures and support the nursing staff.
8. Support transport and preparation of patients undergoing invasive procedures.

Skills:

• Extensive knowledge of cath lab protocols and STEMI management.
• Proficiency in equipment handling and aseptic techniques.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Work experience may substitute educational requirements.

Pay Range:

• Weekly: $1,850 - $2,050
• Monthly: $7,400 - $8,200
