Cardiovascular Technician - Electrophysiology Lab - NYCTECH

Job Title: Cardiovascular Technician - Electrophysiology Lab
Duties:

• Prepare patients for electrophysiology procedures and maintain patient monitoring throughout.
• Assist with equipment setup, sterile field preparation, and instrument handling.
• Monitor and document hemodynamic changes during procedures, alerting the team of abnormalities.
• Restock supplies in procedure rooms and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues or escalate as needed.
• Participate in patient transport and assist in positioning on procedure tables.
• Perform aseptic techniques, including surgical scrubbing, gowning, and gloving.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and nurses during specialized procedures.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support lab operations.

Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in an EP or Cardiac Cath lab.
• Proficiency in equipment operation and sterile field management.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• MBBS qualification acceptable in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.

Pay Range:

• Weekly: $1,900 - $2,100
• Monthly: $7,600 - $8,400
