School Nursing Specialist

• Stipend: Total stipend of $130,000 annually
• Qualifications:
1. State-issued School Nurse License
2. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
3. CPR certification from a recognized provider
4. Compliance with criminal history background check and U.S. residency status
• Performance Responsibilities:

• Provides health assessments and first aid to students as needed throughout the school day
• Ensures that health records are complete and compliant with federal and state requirements
• Coordinates the school’s health education programs, working with faculty to integrate health topics into the curriculum
• Tracks and reports on incidents of communicable diseases within the school, taking necessary precautions
• Leads and supports health-related initiatives, such as flu vaccination clinics and wellness programs
• Conducts routine student health evaluations and referrals to specialists as needed
• Serves as a resource for the school community on health-related issues
• Submits monthly reports to the Director of Health Services detailing school health trends
