Student Health Services Nurse
Stipend: Total stipend of $125,000 annually
Qualifications:
Current certification as a School Nurse
Effective communication with students, parents, and staff
Valid CPR certification from a recognized agency
Required background check and legal work documentation
Performance Responsibilities:
Oversees the daily management of the school health office, providing first aid and responding to medical emergencies
Conducts annual health screenings, including vision, hearing, and scoliosis checks for all students
Develops and implements care plans for students with chronic health conditions
Works in partnership with parents to ensure appropriate medical follow-up for students with medical needs
Coordinates with local health agencies to offer additional resources to students and staff
Educates staff and students on health-related topics, including nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention
Provides immediate response to medical emergencies within the school environment
Maintains accurate and up-to-date student health records, ensuring compliance with state regulations
