Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Technologist – Blood Bank (Overnight Shift)

Shift: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: 40 hours/week | 8 hours/day
Duration: 13 Weeks

Pay: $62/Hourly (Local), $72/Hourly (Travel)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Laboratory Technologist with Blood Bank experience to join a respected medical team in Bronx, NY. This role is ideal for professionals experienced in transfusion services and seeking an overnight schedule in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform immunohematology testing, including blood typing, antibody screening, and compatibility testing.
• Prepare and issue blood and blood components following established protocols.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of lab results.
• Ensure compliance with quality control standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.

Requirements:

• Valid New York State License (092) to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, with Primary Source Verification.
• Minimum 1 year of recent Blood Bank experience required.
• Familiarity with laboratory protocols in a transfusion services setting.
• BLS certification preferred.
