Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. The RRT will provide comprehensive respiratory care under the supervision of the Director of Respiratory Services and other leadership staff. This role involves assessing, treating, and managing patients with cardiopulmonary conditions while collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver respiratory therapy services under medical direction, including treatment, education, and diagnostic evaluation of patients with cardiopulmonary conditions.

  • Assist with intubation procedures and manage ventilator settings for patients.

  • Gather and assess patient data to determine appropriate respiratory care plans.

  • Provide education to patients and caregivers regarding disease management, treatment plans, and respiratory therapies.

  • Develop strong rapport with patients, caregivers, and the healthcare team to foster a supportive care environment.

  • Maintain thorough documentation of patient education, therapy sessions, and care plans.

  • Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA.

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

  • Current and valid New Jersey Respiratory Care License.

  • Current and valid New Jersey Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Certification.

Work Schedule:

  • Hours Per Week: 36 hours

  • Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (12-hour shifts)

  • Days Per Week: 3 shifts per week
