Registered Nurse - Neonatal ICU - Night Shift

Location: Healthcare Facilities across NYC (Brooklyn, Bronx, Manhattan, Queens)
Pay Rate: $70 – $76 per hour (Based on Experience) (Travel rate may vary)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill neonates.
  • Administer IV therapy and perform phlebotomy procedures for diagnostic and treatment purposes.
  • Perform conscious sedation following established safety guidelines.
  • Monitor and document neonatal conditions, responding promptly to changes.
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide emotional support and education to families regarding neonatal care.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital, state infection control, and patient safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in unit meetings, continuing education, and professional development.

Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Active RN License – New York State.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maternal and child health.
  • Proficiency in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA Certified.
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification.
  • Phlebotomy Certification – Required.
