Job Title: Physical Therapist

Location: Syracuse, NY 13210
Duration: 12 Weeks
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, plus one weekend per month

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist with acute and outpatient experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, a valid New York State license (or eligibility), and at least 2 years of experience in the field.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy (required)

• Active NYS Physical Therapy License or license eligibility (required)

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in acute care and outpatient settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs based on patient needs

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and patients to establish specific treatment goals

• Maintain accurate patient notes and discharge records in a timely manner

• Participate in clinics, rounds, and conferences, providing patient insights as needed

• Engage in educational programs for staff, students, volunteers, and other healthcare personnel

• Train new staff members and serve as a clinical instructor for senior-level students

• Support and contribute to new program development
