Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The RN will be responsible for evaluating patients, assisting physicians, and managing patient care through comprehensive assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. This role requires strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities:
Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.
Identify patient priorities through comprehensive assessment and evaluation.
Develop and coordinate individualized care plans for assigned patients.
Initiate assessments based on patient conditions, physician diagnoses, and clinical indicators.
Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care efficiently.
Accurately document care according to hospital standards and patient acuity.
Advocate for evidence-based practice and support innovation in care delivery.
Provide patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing standards.
Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry nursing experience required.
Education:
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Telemetry Certification or Telemetry Competency Exam required.
Certifications & Licensure:
Active NJ State RN license or multi-state compact license required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA required.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA required.
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required.
Schedule & Work Conditions:
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts)
Weekly Hours: 36 hours (3x12 shifts per week)
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
