Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care, performing nursing interventions, and identifying patient problems before significant changes occur. The ideal candidate must be able to handle a variety of critical care situations and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, recognizing early signs of complications.
Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as per physician orders.
Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Collaborate with physicians, healthcare teams, and family members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Document patient care and progress accurately and in compliance with hospital policies.
Maintain compliance with infection control protocols and patient safety guidelines.
Educate patients and families regarding conditions, treatment plans, and post-care needs.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience.
ICU bedside experience within the last six months is required.
Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to formulate effective nursing care plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility with scheduling and adaptability to different ICU settings.
Education & Licensure:
Required: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN).
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Certifications Required:
BLS (AHA)
Schedule & Work Conditions:
Hours: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (12-hour shifts, 3 days per week)
