Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) team. The RN will be responsible for evaluating patients, assisting physicians with patient care, and delivering high-quality nursing care based on patient needs. This role requires a strong understanding of medical-surgical nursing and the ability to provide comprehensive care in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.
Develop and coordinate individualized care plans for patients through ongoing assessments.
Initiate assessments based on patient conditions, physician diagnosis, and established care protocols.
Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care.
Maintain accurate documentation following care standards, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
Advocate for evidence-based care practices and contribute to innovation in care delivery.
Provide patient-centered care in alignment with professional nursing practice models.
Float to other units as required.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of recent, strong Medical-Surgical nursing experience.
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
Work Schedule:
12-hour night shifts (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM).
Three shifts per week, including every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday).
