We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ED) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The RN will be responsible for providing urgent and high-quality care to patients in emergency situations, demonstrating quick decision-making and critical thinking skills.
Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on medical urgency.
Provide emergency medical interventions and treatments as necessary.
Administer medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
Assist physicians with procedures and critical care interventions.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Document patient care accurately and in accordance with hospital policies.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Experience:
Minimum 18 months of nursing experience in an Emergency Department – Required
ED experience within the past 6 months – Required
Strong clinical knowledge and ability to formulate effective care plans
Certifications & Licenses:
Active NJ State RN License or Multi-State Compact License – Required
BLS (AHA) – Required
ACLS (AHA) – Required
PALS (AHA) – Required
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) – Required
Telemetry Certification or Competency Exam – Required
CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours – Required
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
Hours per week: 36 hours
Days per week: 3 days
