We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med Surg/Telemetry (MS/Tele) Unit for a 13-week assignment. The RN will play a vital role in providing patient-centered care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions. This position requires strong clinical skills, experience in telemetry, and the ability to work in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on medical diagnosis and patient needs.
Provide direct and therapeutic nursing care, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practice standards.
Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding to changes in patient conditions.
Document patient care accurately based on acuity and clinical priorities.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
Float to other Med Surg/Telemetry units, including the COVID unit, as needed.
Maintain a high level of reliability and availability for scheduled shifts.
Certifications & Licenses:
Active RN License (Multi-State Compact License accepted)
BLS (AHA) – Required
ACLS (AHA) – Required
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) – Required
Telemetry Certification – Required
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of MS/Tele experience – Required
Joint and Spine Ortho experience – Preferred
