Job Title: Pediatric Sonographer 
Location: Healthcare Facilities across NJ, NY & Upstate NY 

Pay Range: From $2570/Week 

Job Description: 

We are seeking a Pediatric Sonographer for a contract position at healthcare facilities across New Jersey, New York, and Upstate New York. The Ultrasound Technologist will perform and assist in ultrasound examinations, provide technical support to radiologists, and maintain ultrasound equipment. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Prepare and examine patients for ultrasound procedures in accordance with established protocols. 
  • Operate and adjust ultrasound equipment, ensuring patient and personnel safety. 
  • Set up, operate, clean, and perform minor maintenance on ultrasound equipment. 
  • Maintain an adequate supply inventory for ultrasound procedures. 
  • Assist in training and mentoring new ultrasound personnel. 
  • Capture images and transfer them to PACS and physician workstations. 
  • Handle administrative tasks such as answering calls, scheduling exams, and arranging patient transportation. 
  • Perform additional duties as assigned. 

Skills & Qualifications: 

  • Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). 
  • 2+ years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and administrative tasks. 
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and discretion. 

Education: 

Required: 

  • Associate’s Degree in Diagnostic Medical Technology OR 
  • High School Diploma/GED with completion of an accredited ultrasound/sonography training program. 

Certifications & Licenses: 

Required: 

  • ARDMS - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) 
  • BLS Certification 

Preferred: 

  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) 

Schedule & Work Hours: 

  • Multiple Shifts Available 
  • 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day) 
  • Must have ultrasound proficiency and experience in ultrasound-guided biopsies. 

Languages: 

  • English (Speak, Read, Write)
