Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Radiology – Day Shift 

Assignment Details: 

  • Location: Healthcare facilities across NJ, NY (Upstate & NYC) 
  • Shift: Day  
  • Duration: 13 Weeks 
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday (No weekends or holidays) 
  • Hours: 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts) 
  • On-Call: Required 
  • Specialty Areas: CAT Scan, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine/PET 

Job Summary: 

The Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered nursing care within a radiology setting. This role involves working with diagnostic imaging procedures, supporting physicians, and ensuring patient safety before, during, and after radiologic interventions. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with evidence-based nursing practices. 
  • Assist physicians with CAT Scan and Ultrasound procedures, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. 
  • Develop and coordinate individualized care plans based on patient assessments. 
  • Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and respond to changes in patient condition. 
  • Document care accurately, adhering to standards of practice and patient acuity levels. 
  • Provide patient education based on age, diagnosis, and cultural considerations. 
  • Advocate for evidence-based nursing standards and support advancements in care delivery. 
  • Monitor patients for clinical and diagnostic status changes. 
  • Ensure a safe and efficient workflow within the radiology department. 
  • Participate in the on-call rotation as required. 

Required Skills & Experience: 

  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting. 
  • Strong critical thinking and assessment skills in a radiology environment. 
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with healthcare teams. 

Education Requirements: 

  • Required: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) 
  • Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) 

Certifications & Licensure: 

  • Active New Jersey RN License (or eligibility for licensure) 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA 
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – AHA 
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – AHA 

Additional Information: 

  • No weekends or holiday shifts required. 
  • On-call responsibilities are mandatory. 
  • This RN will specialize in radiology procedures, primarily covering CAT Scan and Ultrasound.
