Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist
Location: Newton, NJ
Contract Duration:
12-week contract
Rotational weekend and weekday on-call for STEMI cases (NMC only)
Schedule:
4 days per week, 9.5-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Job Duties:
Prepare and assist in cardiac catheterization, PCI (STEMI), and other procedures, including peripheral vascular, pacemaker, and interventional radiology procedures.
Monitor, document, and calculate hemodynamic data during procedures.
Provide procedural support to physicians pre-, intra-, and post-procedure.
Assess and manage access sites, ensuring timely physician notification as needed.
Adhere to on-call protocols for the Cath Lab.
Prepare patients for procedures and ensure proper pre-procedure care.
Skills & Qualifications:
Licensed Radiologic Technologist
RCIS certification preferred
BLS & ACLS certification required
IABP experience required
Direct and current Cardiac Cath Lab experience required (Scrub and Monitor roles are essential)
