Shift: Day: 3x12 (06:30 AM - 07:00 PM) | Night: 3x12 (06:30 PM - 07:00 AM)
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) ECMO Specialist to join our team in a high-acuity healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) equipment and providing advanced respiratory care in critical care units. This is a 13-week contract position with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities:

Provide specialized respiratory care services in adult critical care units.
Operate and manage ECMO equipment and procedures.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Monitor patient status and adjust care plans as needed.
Maintain accurate documentation using Excellian/Epic charting systems.
Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
At least 1 year of recent experience as an ECMO Specialist.
Active State License as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
Valid ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
Flexibility to work day and night shifts, including every other weekend.
