RN - Labor and Delivery - RNLD 25-21320

Position: RN - Labor and Delivery
Location: Bronx, NY, 10467
Contract: 13 weeks with possible extension
Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Compensation: $2,500 - $3,000 weekly

Key Responsibilities:

• Regularly assess the patient’s condition by monitoring vital signs, uterine contractions, fetal heart rate, and overall maternal health.
• Track the progress of labor, including cervical dilation, effacement, and fetal positioning.
• Conduct initial assessments upon admission, including obtaining medical history and reviewing the patient’s birth plan.
• Assist the healthcare team, including obstetricians and midwives, during labor and delivery.
• Educate patients and families about the labor process, possible interventions, and what to expect during delivery.

Requirements:

• Minimum two years of experience in maternal and child health.
• Proficiency in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (American Heart Association).
