Palliative Care Nurse
Responsibilities: As a Palliative Care Nurse, you will provide compassionate care to patients with serious illnesses, focusing on symptom management, pain relief, and enhancing quality of life. You will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop individualized care plans that address both physical and emotional needs. Your role will include monitoring symptoms, providing comfort measures, offering counseling to patients and families, and coordinating care across different healthcare settings.
Required Skills: Expertise in symptom management, pain control, strong communication skills, ability to provide emotional support to patients and families, and knowledge of palliative care protocols.
Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in palliative or hospice care, advanced certification in palliative care nursing is preferred.
