Job Description:
Assist patients by providing information, services, and support.
Maintain medical supplies inventory and perform preventive maintenance on medical equipment.
Verify patient information by conducting interviews, recording medical history, and confirming the purpose of visits.
Prepare patients for examinations by conducting preliminary physical tests (blood pressure, weight, temperature) and reporting patient history summaries.
Support physicians by assisting with office procedures.
Ensure patient confidentiality by maintaining and securing medical records, completing diagnostic and procedure coding, and safeguarding patient information.
Counsel patients by conveying physician’s orders and addressing surgery-related inquiries.
Schedule surgeries by coordinating with the surgical center, confirming times with patients, and preparing necessary documentation (charts, pre-admission forms, and consent forms).
