Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join a dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and distribution of medications, maintain inventory, and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations. This role requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and adaptability to rotating assignments and shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and distribute medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Manage and maintain drug inventory, ensuring proper stock levels.
• Rotate assignments and shifts to support departmental operations.
• Accurately receive, return, and deliver medications, carts, and supplies to designated hospital areas.
• Operate and troubleshoot automated dispensing systems such as Omnicell.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local pharmacy regulations.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Certification: Pharmacy Technician certification by the New York State Education Department (NYSED).
• Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with experience in automated pharmacy systems preferred.
