Registered Nurse – Orthopedic Minor Treatment Nurse

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with at least 2 years of experience in orthopedic or urgent care nursing.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Experience in casting, splinting, and musculoskeletal injury management.

Duties:

• Provide nursing care for patients with minor orthopedic injuries.
• Assess and manage fractures, dislocations, and sprains.
• Apply and adjust splints, casts, and orthopedic braces.
• Educate patients on injury recovery, physical therapy, and home care.
• Administer pain relief and anti-inflammatory medications as needed.
• Collaborate with orthopedic specialists and rehabilitation teams.
• Ensure compliance with orthopedic care protocols and patient safety measures.
