Registered Nurse – Urgent Care Minor Treatment Nurse

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with at least 2 years of experience in urgent care or ambulatory settings.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Experience with minor illnesses, fractures, wound management, and infections.

Duties:

• Provide care for walk-in patients with minor injuries and illnesses.
• Assess and manage conditions such as lacerations, sprains, burns, and fevers.
• Administer vaccines, antibiotics, and pain management medications.
• Perform diagnostic tests, including point-of-care lab work and EKGs.
• Educate patients on home care instructions and medication adherence.
• Collaborate with primary care providers for continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments and treatments.
