Registered Nurse – Oncology Nurse (Non-Telemetry)

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with at least 2 years of experience in oncology care.
• Oncology Nursing Certification (ONC) preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS recommended.

Duties:

• Provide nursing care for oncology patients receiving chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
• Monitor for side effects such as nausea, immunosuppression, and electrolyte imbalances.
• Administer chemotherapy, blood transfusions, and supportive medications.
• Educate patients and families on symptom management and treatment expectations.
• Collaborate with oncologists, palliative care teams, and social workers.
• Ensure strict adherence to chemotherapy safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatment plans and patient progress.
