Registered Nurse – Postpartum Nurse (Non-Telemetry)

Qualifications:

Current RN license with at least 2 years of experience in postpartum and maternity care.
BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required.
Experience with lactation support, newborn care, and maternal recovery.

Duties:

Provide nursing care for mothers and newborns in a postpartum unit.
Monitor for post-delivery complications such as infections and postpartum hemorrhage.
Assist with breastfeeding education and newborn feeding assessments.
Educate families on newborn care, safe sleep, and postpartum recovery.
Administer medications and perform maternal health assessments.
Work with lactation consultants and pediatricians for comprehensive care.
Maintain compliance with maternity and postpartum care protocols.
