Registered Nurse – Orthopedic Rehabilitation Nurse

Qualifications:

Current RN license with at least 2 years of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation or surgical recovery.
ACLS and BLS certification required.
Experience with joint replacements, fracture management, and post-operative recovery.

Duties:

Provide nursing care to patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries and musculoskeletal injuries.
Assist with mobility training, including use of crutches, walkers, and prosthetics.
Monitor post-surgical wounds, pain management, and physical therapy progress.
Administer pain relief treatments and monitor for surgical site infections.
Educate patients and families on post-orthopedic care and rehabilitation exercises.
Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and physical therapists to optimize recovery.
Maintain compliance with orthopedic rehabilitation protocols and patient safety measures.
