Shift: Evening (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)

Shifts per Week: 5 (including every other weekend & holiday)

Hours per Shift: 8

Experience Required: 1+ years in Long-Term Care

Compensation: $1600 - -$2000 Weekly

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our Long-Term Care unit in Montour Falls, NY for a 13-week contract. This evening shift role involves providing high-quality nursing care to residents while ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. The ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vitals, administering medications, and assisting with daily living activities.
• Document and report changes in resident conditions to the supervising nurse or physician.
• Assist with wound care, IV therapy, and other medical treatments as required.
• Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents, offering emotional support and patient education.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to create and follow individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with facility policies.
• Adhere to all infection control and safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Active LPN/LVN license in New York.
• Minimum 1+ year of experience in a Long-Term Care or similar setting.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication.
• Ability to work evening shifts (3 PM – 11 PM), including every other weekend & holiday.
