🕒 Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM | One late night shift until 8:00 PM required
🚑 Possible float to Family Medicine and ENT
💰 Compensation: Up to $840/week

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to provide patient care and administrative support in a dynamic healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will assist physicians, perform clinical tasks, and ensure smooth patient flow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and EKGs as required.
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and dressing.
• Prepare patients for exams and procedures, collect and process specimens, and conduct point-of-care testing.
• Take vital signs and relay instructions to patients and families.
• Assist physicians with various procedures.
• Answer patient inquiries and provide relevant information.

Administrative Duties:

• Manage medical records, including lab reports, referral documentation, and hospital notes.
• Enter orders into the electronic medical record (EMR) system and prepare prescription refill requests for physician approval.
• Inventory, order, and restock medical supplies.
• Maintain sterilization logs and ensure proper storage of medications.
• Check expiration dates on medications and supplies, disposing of expired items per policy.
• Schedule surgeries and procedures, verify appointment times, and prepare necessary documentation.
• May perform front desk duties, appointment scheduling, and insurance verification.

Required Skills & Experience:

✔️ Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
✔️ Experience with Epic EMR and ENT procedures preferred.
✔️ Front desk experience and prior authorization knowledge required.
✔️ BLS Certification (AHA required).

Education & Licensure:

🎓 High School Diploma or GED required.
