Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Geriatrics Float Nurse

Qualifications:

Current RN license with at least 2 years of experience in geriatric and med/surg units.
ACLS, BLS, and Geriatric Nursing Certification (RN-BC) preferred.
Strong understanding of chronic disease management and mobility support.

Duties:

Float between medical-surgical and geriatric units to provide comprehensive patient care.
Monitor and manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and arthritis.
Assist with mobility, fall prevention, and rehabilitation therapies.
Administer medications, IV fluids, and nutritional support for elderly patients.
Educate families and caregivers on senior health and long-term care plans.
Work closely with geriatricians, physical therapists, and palliative care teams.
Ensure compliance with geriatric patient safety and fall prevention measures.

Pay:

High weekly pay range: $2,900 - $3,600
