Registered Nurse – Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery Nurse

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with at least 2 years of experience in pediatric orthopedic surgery.
• PALS and BLS certification required; CNOR preferred.
• Experience in fracture repairs, spinal surgeries, and limb deformity corrections.

Duties:

• Provide perioperative nursing care for pediatric orthopedic surgical patients.
• Assist in positioning and prepping patients for orthopedic procedures.
• Manage traction, immobilization devices, and post-operative pain management.
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons to ensure proper instrumentation and equipment use.
• Educate families on post-operative mobility, bracing, and physical therapy.
• Document surgical interventions, anesthesia response, and post-op care plans.
• Maintain compliance with orthopedic surgery protocols and infection control guidelines.

Pay:

• Medium weekly pay range: $2,400 - $3,100
