Registered Nurse – Pediatric Operating Room Nurse

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric perioperative nursing.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) preferred.
• Strong understanding of pediatric surgical procedures, anesthesia recovery, and sterile technique.

Duties:

• Provide perioperative care to pediatric patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Assist in surgical preparation, positioning, and sterile field maintenance.
• Monitor pediatric patients' vital signs during surgery and anesthesia.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure safe procedures.
• Educate parents and caregivers on pre- and post-operative care.
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control and surgical safety protocols.
• Document surgical interventions, medications, and patient responses accurately.

Pay:

• Medium weekly pay range: $2,400 - $3,100
