Registered Nurse – Adolescent Psychiatric Nurse

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with at least 2 years of experience in adolescent mental health.
• PALS and CPI certification required.
• Strong understanding of behavioral health issues affecting adolescents.

Duties:

• Provide psychiatric nursing care for adolescent patients in inpatient or outpatient settings.
• Conduct mental health assessments and monitor emotional well-being.
• Implement crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
• Assist with therapy groups and psychoeducation for adolescents and families.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Collaborate with school counselors and social workers to support continuity of care.
• Maintain a safe environment that promotes adolescent mental health recovery.
