Registered Nurse – Pediatric Care Specialist

Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in pediatric nursing.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Strong knowledge of pediatric growth and development.
Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills.

Duties:

Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in an outpatient or inpatient setting.
Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform assessments.
Educate parents and caregivers on treatment plans and wellness strategies.
Work closely with pediatricians and interdisciplinary teams for patient care.
Assist with minor medical procedures and vaccinations.
Ensure compliance with infection control and pediatric safety protocols.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation.
