Registered Nurse – Pediatric Triage Nurse 

Qualifications: 

• Current RN license with at least 2 years of experience in pediatric triage. 

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and BLS certification required. 

• Experience in assessing and managing pediatric conditions. 

Duties: 

• Triage pediatric patients in urgent care, emergency, or outpatient settings. 

• Assess symptoms such as fever, dehydration, and respiratory distress. 

• Provide parental guidance on home care, medication dosing, and follow-up needs. 

• Prioritize care for infants and children based on severity of illness or injury. 

• Administer necessary interventions, including oxygen therapy and IV fluids. 

• Work closely with pediatricians to ensure timely treatment. 

• Maintain compliance with pediatric triage standards and documentation protocols.
