Registered Nurse – Vascular Access Nurse
Qualifications:
Active RN license with at least 2 years of experience in vascular access or procedural nursing.
Certification in Vascular Access (VA-BC) preferred.
Experience with central line placements, PICC line insertions, and IV therapy.
Duties:
Provide vascular access services, including peripheral IVs and central line insertions.
Monitor and assess patients for potential complications such as infection or thrombosis.
Educate patients and staff on vascular access care and infection prevention.
Assist in ultrasound-guided IV placements for difficult-access patients.
Document all procedures and ensure compliance with vascular access protocols.
Work collaboratively with physicians and interventional radiology teams.
Maintain high standards for sterile technique and infection control.
