Registered Nurse – Pre-Operative & Post-Operative Nurse

Qualifications:

Active RN license with at least 2 years of experience in pre-op or PACU nursing.
ACLS, BLS, and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of anesthesia recovery, patient monitoring, and post-procedure pain management.

Duties:

Prepare patients for procedures by conducting assessments and reviewing medical histories.
Monitor post-procedural recovery, including airway management and pain control.
Administer IV fluids, analgesics, and post-anesthesia medications.
Educate patients on procedure expectations, potential side effects, and discharge instructions.
Identify and address potential post-procedure complications.
Work closely with anesthesiologists and surgical teams for smooth care transitions.
Ensure compliance with pre- and post-procedure protocols and safety measures.
