Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery Operating Room Nurse
Qualifications:
Active RN license with at least 2 years of experience in labor and delivery or surgical nursing.
ACLS, BLS, and NRP certification required.
CNOR (Certified Perioperative Nurse) preferred.
Duties:
Assist in cesarean sections and other obstetric surgical procedures.
Maintain sterile technique and prepare surgical instruments.
Monitor maternal vital signs and fetal heart rate throughout surgery.
Administer anesthesia support and emergency medications as needed.
Educate patients and families on surgical recovery and postpartum care.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and neonatal teams.
Ensure accurate documentation of intraoperative events and interventions.
