Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Geriatrics Nurse 

Qualifications: 

• Active RN license with at least 2 years of experience in geriatric and medical-surgical care. 

• Geriatric Nursing Certification (RN-BC) preferred. 

• BLS and ACLS certification required. 

Duties: 

• Provide specialized care for elderly patients with chronic conditions and mobility challenges. 

• Administer medications, IV therapy, and wound care for geriatric patients. 

• Assist with fall prevention, mobility training, and rehabilitation therapies. 

• Monitor for cognitive decline, dehydration, and medication side effects. 

• Educate families on long-term care planning and chronic disease management. 

• Work with geriatricians, social workers, and rehabilitation specialists. 

• Maintain compliance with geriatric care best practices and patient safety measures.
