Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Neurology Nurse 

Qualifications: 

• Current RN license with at least 2 years of experience in neurology and medical-surgical care. 

• Stroke Certified Registered Nurse (SCRN) preferred. 

• BLS and ACLS certification required. 

Duties: 

• Provide care for patients with neurological disorders such as stroke, seizures, and brain injuries. 

• Perform frequent neurological assessments and monitor for changes in condition. 

• Administer IV medications, seizure precautions, and stroke rehabilitation care. 

• Educate patients and families on neurological recovery and rehabilitation exercises. 

• Collaborate with neurologists, speech therapists, and rehabilitation teams. 

• Recognize early signs of neurological deterioration and implement interventions. 

• Maintain compliance with neurology care protocols and best practices.
