Registered Nurse – Surgical Med/Surg Nurse
Qualifications:
Current RN license with at least 2 years of experience in post-surgical care.
BLS and ACLS certification required.
Experience in wound care, post-op monitoring, and pain management.
Duties:
Provide nursing care for post-surgical patients recovering from major and minor procedures.
Monitor for post-operative complications such as infections, blood clots, and respiratory distress.
Assist with pain management, wound dressing changes, and drain care.
Educate patients on post-operative care, mobility restrictions, and rehabilitation.
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure continuity of care.
Document all interventions, medications, and patient responses.
Maintain compliance with surgical unit protocols and safety measures.
