Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical Nurse
Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
Strong knowledge of acute and chronic disease management, wound care, and IV therapy.
Excellent communication and patient education skills.
Duties:
Provide direct nursing care to patients with a wide range of medical conditions.
Administer medications, IV fluids, and wound care treatments.
Monitor patient progress and recognize early signs of complications.
Educate patients and families on recovery, medications, and discharge instructions.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and physical therapists.
Assist with pain management, mobility support, and nutritional needs.
Maintain accurate patient documentation and comply with hospital policies.
