Description:
The PCU Stroke Recovery Nurse focuses on caring for patients recovering from strokes and neurological impairments, ensuring safe recovery and preventing complications. The nurse will assist with patient assessments, manage medications, and provide support for rehabilitation. Proficiency in NIHSS and ACLS certifications is required, along with experience in stroke care and multi-system recovery.

Mandatory Skills:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in stroke or neuro-focused PCU nursing.
• Expertise in stroke rehabilitation, neuro assessments, and managing multi-system patients.
• NIHSS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative care setting and support patients through their recovery.
