Description:
The Neuro PCU Nurse specializes in the care of patients recovering from neurological conditions such as strokes, brain injuries, and trauma. This role involves assessing and managing the treatment of complex neuro patients, including those with multi-system involvement like renal, pulmonary, and cardiac conditions. The nurse will administer medications, monitor vitals, and provide ongoing support throughout recovery. NIHSS and ACLS certifications are required.

Mandatory Skills:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in neuro, trauma, or post-critical care.
• Proficiency in neurological assessments and managing patients with multi-system conditions.
• Required certifications: NIHSS, ACLS.
• Ability to work with trauma and stroke patients in a fast-paced, intensive care environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and families.
