The RN Cardiothoracic Operating Room Nurse assists during thoracic and cardiovascular surgeries, ensuring all procedures are conducted safely and efficiently. This nurse manages complex equipment, assists with endovascular and open-heart surgeries, and is involved in recovery care. The role includes responding to urgent calls, including weekends and holidays, to support surgeries requiring advanced interventions like Impella, ECMO, and IABP.

Mandatory Skills:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with 3+ years of experience in cardiovascular or thoracic surgeries.
• Expertise in using Impella, IABP, and ECMO during surgery.
• Ability to scrub and circulate during complex surgeries, including open and endovascular procedures.
• Strong post-operative monitoring skills.
• Willingness to take on-call shifts and manage weekend responsibilities.
